Himansu Sekhar Mahapatra
This Blogger was born in 1950 in the State of Odisha (erstwhile spelt as Orissa), India. He completed his schooling in 1966 and Post Graduate College studies in 1972 at various towns in Odisha. Thereafter he joined a Company.
During the tenure of service he achieved some extra qualifications in various other fields. He was also involved in Training, Education and Development at top level (management), middle level (shop floor management) and ground level (workers' training & education).
He is basically a Technocrat having working exposure in Technical
Operations, but later acquired the knowledge of Projects & Financial
Analysis, Financial Consulting, Human Resources Functions and Computers. Has
Additional Exposure in: Project Finance, Private / Personal Finance, Investment
Consultancy, Articles / Study Materials Compiling.
In 2005, he got a chance to teach in Business Schools. He has never looked back since then and started teaching
Marketing Management Subjects as a Guest Faculty at his native city Bhubaneswar
and nearby Cuttack, The subjects are Consumer Behaviour, Services Marketing,
and Integrated Marketing Communications.
In 2009, one of the Business Schools in Bhubaneswar wanted to do a short
promotional film for its publicity and was looking for a “main character who
looked like a professor”. He got himself readily fitted into the role and did
the job.
His Articles on Marketing Management, Project Reports, Blogs & other
Topics have been published in the websites with by-line as “Himansu S M” and
“Hisema”: associatedcontent.com, scribd.com, Linked-In Slideshare.in and
Blogger.com. He has photography as hobby, and published his pictures in
500px.com.
He is also an Amazon Author, having published 12 e-Books under Kindle Direct Publishing.
